Overview

The discreet door on 55th street that once served as the entrance to Patrick Joseph Clarke's home, now leads you up to one of the best kept secrets in Manhattan, Sidecar at P.J. Clarke's. This handsome semiprivate upstairs dining room was the birthplace of Patrick Joseph Clarke himself and for 50 years was a musty antiques office. Now its wood beamed ceiling, exposed brick walls, and seemingly endless space welcomes diners to one of Manhattan's most intimate dining rooms.

The long banquets and elegant tables run the entire length of the room and Bank of England chairs immediately envelope one in a unique sense of clubby comfort. An extensive wine collection, personal attention and the quiet appeal of a unique refuge complete the experience.

SIDECAR accepts reservations for lunch and dinner and accepts private event bookings for parties of 25 to 300.
